Riddell Football Helmets Sizes and Styles Comparison Chart
Riddell's factories hand-sprayer paint the *shells (view photo below of shells on a drying rack) and rubber-coat the facemasks (some are hand-sprayer painted), then hand-assemble the helmets by applying the decals, inserting the bumpers and padding sets, and attaching the facemasks and chinstraps. (*All Full Size shells are hand-sprayer painted, some Mini shells are hand-sprayer painted. All Mini facemasks are made out of plastic, some are hand-sprayer painted.)
SpeedFlex Style The SpeedFlex Style, Riddell's newest design, and the Speed Style (below) are Riddell's two most current and popular styles wore on-field by the players. Its hexagon-shaped (6-sided) impact absorption cut-out on the top, front of its shell is one of a few things that differentiate it from the Speed Style (below). The Full Size Authentics come with an authentic full interior padding set already installed. The Midi Replicas come with a replica full interior padding set already installed. The Midi Replicas include a faceshield visor (a first for a licensed helmet).

Vsr4 Style The Vsr4 Style, the "classic" style, designed by Riddell in the 1980's, is still wore on-field by a few of the players. The Vsr4 Style is great for multiple autographs and is made in current and throwback team's color(s) and/or logo(s). The Full Size Authentics come with the full interior padding set already installed. The Full Size Replicas, Minis, and Pockets come with decorative interior padding already installed.
